In Western Australia there are around 20 private higher education providers who offer courses leading to undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications such as:

The range of areas offered by these private providers include theological studies, business and information technology, arts, health, science and engineering.
All of these private training providers have Government registration are regulated by the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) for the provision of Higher Education to international students and operate under the requirements of the Education Services for Overseas Students (ESOS) legislative framework. The Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000 (ESOS Act) and related legislation is designed to protect the interests of students coming to Australia on student visas. The legislation aims to protect and enhance Australia's reputation for quality education, to provide tuition protection and to support the integrity of the student visa program.
